Ordering and delivery
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only: England, Wales, Scotland (including the Highlands and Scottish islands) and Northern Ireland. We do not deliver to the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or outside the UK.
How much is delivery?
Standard UK delivery is a flat £9.99 (including VAT) per order, whatever the size or weight of your order and wherever you are in the UK. The charge is shown at checkout before you pay, and nothing is added afterwards.
How long will my order take?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and delivered 2–4 working days after dispatch, so allow 3–6 working days from order in total. Orders placed before 2pm (UK time) on a working day are processed the same day. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. We email you a dispatch confirmation with tracking details when your order leaves us.
Can I change my delivery address?
Yes, if your order has not been dispatched. Call +44 1282 270214 or email sales@resincoatingsdirect.co.uk with your order number as soon as possible. The new address must be in the UK.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Before dispatch you can cancel free of charge and get a full refund, including delivery. After dispatch you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods and return them. See our Order Cancellation Policy.
Payment and prices
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at 20%. A VAT invoice is available on request.
How can I pay?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and UnionPay cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna and Resin Coatings Direct gift vouchers. See our Payment Policy.
Can I pay later with Klarna?
Yes, where Klarna is offered at checkout. Klarna's own terms apply and Klarna may carry out a credit check.
Do you offer trade or bulk quotes?
Yes. For several floors, large areas or a schedule of works, send us the details through our contact page and we will prepare one quote.
Returns and refunds
Can I return something I no longer need?
Yes, within 14 days of receiving your order, as long as it is unused and unopened in its original sealed container. Contact us first. You pay return postage for change-of-mind returns, and there is no restocking fee.
Can I return an opened tin or tub?
Opened or used paints, resins and coatings cannot be resold, so we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value. Products made, mixed or tinted to your specification cannot be returned for change of mind unless faulty.
What if my order arrives damaged or leaking?
Contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund within 5 working days of receiving your photos, and cover any return postage.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within 5 working days of us receiving and inspecting your return. See our Return and Refund Policy.
Do you offer exchanges?
No. Return the item for a refund and place a new order for the product you want.
Products and advice
Can you help me choose the right product?
Yes. Tell us what the surface is, its current condition and the area you need to cover. You can call us, email us, or send photos of your floor, wall or roof on WhatsApp from our contact page.
How much coating do I need?
Use the coverage calculator on our website, or contact us with the area in square metres and we will help you work it out.
Where can I find safety information?
Always read the product label, technical data sheet and safety data sheet before use, and follow the application and safety instructions. Contact us if you need a data sheet for a product.
